Serve The Community

Richland is located in the heart of Hartwood and we love our community! We are always looking for ways that we can serve and show love to those living here. Check out opportunities below of how you can serve the Hartwood community with us!

Thurman Brisben Homeless Shelter Ministry

Richland partners with the Thurman Brisben Homeless Shelter to cook and serve breakfast and dinner several times a year.

The Brisben Center is the greater community's largest full service, year-round, residential emergency homeless shelter.

The remaining dates for 2017 are: November 26 (Dinner).

Please contact Richard Lavoie if you are interested if volunteering for this ministry at rlavoie@richlandbaptist.com.

Good News Club- Hartwood Elementary

Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). Through CEF after school gospel clubs can be conducted in public elementary schools.

Richland has "adopted" Hartwood Elementary school and holds Good News Club there after school. Every Thursday at Good News Club we have the opportunity to serve and love Hartwood students by teaching them the good news of Jesus, worshiping, and playing games. The Good News Club meets every Wednesday at Hartwood Elementary from 3:40-5:00PM.
