Drive-In Worship Service

Important Guidelines for our Drive-in Service

  • Please do not arrive any earlier than 9:30 a.m.

    • Starting at 9:30 a.m. we will have people able to direct you concerning where to park.  A song lyric sheet will be given to you by the parking team prior to you parking.  Please try to arrive early for the service so we have time to get everyone situated before starting at 10:00 a.m.

    • You may enter our parking lot from Richland Road or from Warrenton Road.

  • Everyone will be able to see the “platform” from their cars.  You may listen on FM radio (we will let you know the frequency when you arrive), on Facebook, or by rolling your windows down.  Last Sunday our radio frequency was clear prior to the service but then developed static during the service (which we did not realize).  If that happens again this Sunday we will try shifting to a different frequency so you will be able to hear clearly on your car radio.

  • Please stay in your cars before, during, and after the service.

    • State guidelines say only ten people should be involved in presenting a drive-in service to those seated in their vehicles.  We are trying to honor that.  We are in a highly visible location, so we want to give a good witness!  People getting out of cars defeats the whole idea of “social distancing.”

  • Our plan is to keep our service to less than one hour, but please use the restroom before you come.  The downstairs door in the educational wing will be unlocked for restroom access should there be an urgent need.  We will have a person at the door to make sure only one male or female (or family) at a time is using the restrooms (social distancing).  The building will be closed except for restroom use.

  • The playground is closed.  We will be giving out treat bags to those with children to help the kids pass the time, but the children need to remain in the cars.  If your child has special dietary restrictions, please bring a snack from home.

  • There will be an opportunity to give tithes and offerings safely from your vehicle after the service before you exit the parking lot.

  • Come prepared to have a great time worshiping our Risen Lord!
