Our curriculum has been carefully chosen by the staff to reflect our Christian values and to meet state and national standards of excellence. Our curriculum builds on what kindergarten teachers prefer that rising kindergartners know and uses developmentally appropriate practices. All staffs have degrees in education and/or extensive teaching experience. All staff are CPR and first aid certified. The Director and several teachers are also EMAT certified.


4 year old curriculum: Saxon's Early Learning Program, includes:

· Recognize and write all uppercase and lower case letters

· Read/write name

· Read/write numbers 0 to 20

· Pre-math concepts

· Recognize opposites and rhyming words

· Integrated history & science

· Cooperative social skills

· Phonics & early reading skills

· Character development


3 year old curriculum: Mother Goose Time, includes:

· Basic letter recognition

· Color and shape recognition

· Recognize and write first name

· Recite numbers 1 to 10

· Count objects up to 10

· Emergent reading/math skills

· Emotional/cooperative social skills

· Character development


2 year old curriculum includes:

Introduction of learning concepts through songs, finger plays, books, and games

· Introduction to social situations

· Develop fine motor skills through arts & crafts

· Develop large motor skills through physical education and music

· Following simple instructions

· Taking turns & sharing

· Introduction of colors, numbers, letters

All 3 & 4 year old classes have a lead and assistant teacher and 14 students giving us a seven to one ratio including specials. Our 2 year old class has a lead teacher and an assistant teacher and 10 students giving us a five to one ratio in this class.
