Sunday Morning Bible Study
Adult Co-Ed Class
Every Sunday Morning
Fellowship Hall
8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Starting June 15 we will be combining two different exciting studies to explore the historical evidence for the Exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt. Both studies go to the locations of the events to document on film the evidence we have that the Exodus was an actual historical event, as documents in the Bible. The historicity of the Exodus has been denied by many, including some prominent archaeologists. Patterns of Evidence: The Exodus came about when a filmmaker was troubled by denials of the historicity of the biblical accounts and had a personal crisis of faith which led him to seek out the truth for himself. The other study, filmed by Appian Media, is called Out of Egypt, and in a similar way goes on location to document on film the evidence for this critical event in the shaping of our faith. If something as central to the history of our faith as the Exodus did not happen, then how can we believe anything the Bible says? The evidence in these studies is quite striking, and we expect most participants in these studies will be hearing and seeing things they have never encountered before. This study on the Evidence for the Exodus will be led by Pastor Bethany and Rick Gensimore. All adults are welcome to join us in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday mornings, 8:30-9:30 a.m. If so inclined, grab a cup of coffee and join us at the table for this study!
