The Book of Hebrews by Derwin Gray

The book of Hebrews was written to people in crisis. They were persecuted, tempted by the rampant sin around them, and doubting their faith in Jesus. It was not so different than what many of us go through today.

Join Dr. Derwin Gray in this eight-session series as he walks through Hebrews, teaching us how to live for Jesus in every season of life. Hebrews shows us that Jesus is better than anything the world can offer. We simply need to answer, “Am I willing to trust him above everything else?”

You were not made to live in disappointment, disillusionment, and defeat; God has given you the tools to live a life defined not by your trials but by your victories. In his new book, Overcomer, David Jeremiah offers his insights on one of the most quoted but least understood passages of the Bible: the apostle Paul's admonition to the Ephesians to take up the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

This group meets every other Thursday night at the B.J. and Becky Sanchez home, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as we live lives connected, serving others.  We will continue to help to provide a hot meal for the homeless at New Generation Outreach one Sunday a month, but we will also be doing other things to impact our community.  A potluck meal will be shared at life group.  We will have a lot of flexibility in our evening meetings, but do not plan to do prolonged or multiple studies. For more information please contact Becky Sanchez at bsanchez@richlandbaptist.com or Christine Blosser at cblosser1@cox.net
